Happy New Year 2009!

Justin and I had a fairly quiet new year. We began the night at our Brazilian friend Elite's apartment. She invited us over for dinner. She made some amazing chicken lasagna. We also got to eat cheese bread which is always a treat! We love going to Elite's parties because we are the minority. I was the only one who didn't speak either Spanish or Portuguese. Luckily I have my own personal translator... thanks Justin! After that we went over to Ryan and Maren's apartment. Justin works with Ryan and they are also in our ward. We had a lot of fun playing Locke's Wii fit. Balancing is a lot harder than you would think. The guys also played Cabela's Dangerous Game Hunter. I posted a video of them playing the game just before this post. The game is really intense. It was so nice just to relax and to be with friends. Thanks everyone! I can't believe it's already 2009. We were very blessed in 2008 and have a lot to be grateful for. We had a great year. I'm so excited for 2009... this year will be the best yet! We are looking forward to our trip to Chile in 1 month, and are so excited for Bing to join our family in May. I can't wait to see what else this year will bring! :)

Cabela's Dangerous Game Hunter

Here is a video from New Year's Eve of Justin playing Cabela's Dangerous Game Hunter on Locke's Wii. As you will see it's just as exciting to watch as it is to play. I only got Justin and Locke in the video, but you can also hear Ryan yelling from the sidelines. I'm sorry if you don't find this as funny as I do :) Enjoy!

20 Weeks!!!

This is a few days late, but we would like to announce that Bing is half baked! We were officially 20 weeks on Sunday. I can't believe we are already halfway there. The time has gone by faster than I realized. I'm starting to feel the need to do some serious planning now! Some other exciting baby news is that Justin and I went to our official ultrasound at the hospital this week. It was amazing to see our little one on the screen. We are happy to report that Bing is healthy and right on schedule as far as development. I know this will disappoint some of you, but we decided not to find out the gender of the baby. Everyone will just have to wait and be surprised :) The ultrasound technician only gave us one profile picture of Bing, but it is a good one. I think the baby totally looks like Justin, and that makes me even more excited! I feel Bing kick every day, all throughout the day now. The kicking is also getting stronger and stronger. I think this baby is going to be an athlete just like it's daddy! That's all the baby news we have for now, but we will keep you updated.
