4th of July

We started out our 4th of July by going to our wards annual pancake breakfast.  The scouts and the young women run it.  Justin was in the young men's the two previous years and had to wake up really early to set up and be ready to serve food at 7am.  It was nice that Justin didn't have to wake up early this year and help.  Our bishop collects flags and always hangs some of his collection around the gym for everyone to enjoy.  This is one of the only pictures I got of the breakfast.

After the breakfast we walked down to the famous Provo 4th of July parade.  We were not able to go in the past because Justin was at the church cleaning up.  It's just a few blocks from our house.  The kids really seemed to enjoy it!

Our family at the parade

After the parade, we drove up to Kaysville to spend some time with Justin's family.  If you want to experience an all-American 4th of July, come on up to Kaysville and spend the day with the King family.  It is full of family, great neighbors and food, parades, and lots of fireworks!  I never knew how great the 4th could be until married into the King family!  Here's Emme hanging out with the neighbors.

We ended the night with Kaysville's amazing fireworks.  Fireworks are Justin's favorite part of the 4th.
