Today was a nice relaxing day. We didn't really have an agenda so we just ate lunch, ran a couple errands and strolled around Old Town Albuquerque. Emme has been super tired and cranky. She has been chewing on stuff like crazy and also had a slight temperature today. She must be teething. (Poor girl!)
Today we at lunch at a sandwich place called McAllister's. The food was great! This is Emme's face after having a taste of my pickle! The funny thing is that she was willing to taste it again!
Later in the day we went to Old Town Albuquerque. Old Town is the old downtown area where the city was founded. It is a really neat old square with a bunch of neat shops and an old church. The church is called San Felipe de Neri and was built in 1793.
Here is an entrance to a bunch of neat outdoor shops around the square.
The local Native Americans set up blankets and sell their homemade sterling silver jewelry. I got a really cool pair of earrings.
This was my favorite part of the day. We bought Emme a pair of moccasins! They were just too adorable to pass up. (Yes Justin, another pair of shoes) Emme needs to get going if she is going to catch up to my shoe collection.
P.S. - Emme made the sign for "more" yesterday when I was feeding her applesauce!!!
